Darcon UV Strip Lamp

The Darcon UV strip fixture consists of three parts: the main body, sockets, and the lamp. The device is designed to eliminate microorganisms present in the environment and on surfaces. It can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, or used freely.

For effective irradiation, the size of the room, ceiling height, and the placement of the device should be considered. It is assumed that a device will be effective in an area of approximately 25 m² in a room with a normal ceiling height (2.5-3 m). As the room size increases, the number of devices used should also be increased.

Since the effectiveness of UVC rays decreases with distance, the disinfection device should be placed as close to the center of the room as possible and away from objects that may obstruct the spread of rays. It should be noted that UVC rays are only effective on surfaces they directly reach. For example, rays that disinfect the top of a table will not affect the underside of the table.

For more effective disinfection, ensure that the air in the room is circulated during use to improve efficiency.

In cases where surface cleaning is the goal, the device should be operated at a minimum distance of 1 meter from the surface to be disinfected for at least 10 minutes. Remember that the rays will only be effective on the surfaces they reach. If the object being cleaned has multiple surfaces, each surface must be exposed to the rays separately.

Direct exposure to UVC rays is harmful to human health. It is crucial to ensure that no living beings are present in the environment while the device is in operation.
